To Log Into the NATIA Website
  • Go to www.natia.imcsaratoga.com
  • Click on the red LOG IN tab in the top right corner of the page
  • Enter the credentials created with your membership application in the username (agency
    email address, all lowercase) and password section to enter the member website

Exhibitor representatives should login at https://natia.users.membersuite.com/auth/portal-login

To Reset Your Password Prior to Logging In
To Reset Your Password After Logging In
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Click the user icon at the top right, and select “Change My Password” in the menu that pops up.

Exhibitor Representatives should log into their Individual Profile and select “Change My Password” in the menu from your user icon in the top right of Your Profile.

Log In/Website Difficulties
  • Completely close out of the browser to reset the login process
  • Make sure the email address you entered is the one NATIA has on file for you
  • Make sure your office settings aren’t preventing you from logging in
  • Make sure you are allowed to edit your own cookie settings
  • Make sure that the cookies are not being blocked by your office network
  • You will need to be able to accept cookies from both natia.imcsaratoga.com and membersuite.com
  • Try using a different browser to log in (Google Chrome recommended)
  • Try using a different/home computer
  • If your agency email address prohibits receiving our emails, please update your settings to
    indicate your personal email address as your preferred. Please note that you MUST maintain an
    agency email address on your account.

Update Your Email Preferences (Opting In or Out)
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Scroll down the page and click “Communication Preferences”
  • Update your preferences in the section that appears

Reminder: You must be subscribed to Event Confirmations & Cancellation Notices if registering for/attending events

Updating Contact Information
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Click the user icon at the top right, and select “My Profile” in the menu that pops up
  • Under the ‘My Personal Information’ section, click the blue pencil icon to edit

**All NATIA members are required to keep a current agency email address on file as their primary email address

Changing Your Email Address On File
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Click the user icon at the top right, and select “My Profile” in the menu that pops up
  • Under the ‘My Personal Information’ section, click the blue pencil icon to edit

*Your primary email address on file with NATIA is the field labeled as ‘Personal Email Address’
**All NATIA members are required to keep a current agency email address on file in their profile
***Updating your email address does NOT change your log in username, please email kayla@natia.imcsaratoga.com for assistance with this

Agency Changes

If you have changed your agency, please update NATIA in both of the following two ways:

  1. Update your contact information by:
    1. Log into the NATIA member website
    2. Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
    3. Click the user icon at the top right, and select “My Profile” in the menu that pops up
    4. Under the ‘My Personal Information’ section, click the blue pencil icon to edit
  2. Email julianne@natia.imcsaratoga.com and request that your profile be updated
    1. Please provide the following information:
      i. NATIA membership ID number
      ii. New agency name
      iii. New job title
      iv. Description of new job responsibilities
      v. Do you still qualify for membership as follows? Membership with NATIA is restricted to full-time employees of law enforcement and military agencies who are actively engaged in technical surveillance, communications, and specialized support of the agencies by which they are employed. Applicants for membership must be employees of Federal, military, regional, state, county, or local agencies that engage in law enforcement or intelligence gathering activities.

Retiring from Your Agency

If you will be retiring from your agency, please email julianne@natia.imcsaratoga.com so that we can update your membership type.

Please note that if you retire from your agency and your membership lapses, you will no longer be eligible for membership with NATIA. Do not let this happen – keep your membership dues and contact information up to date!

To Print an Invoice
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Under the ‘My Account’ section, click the ‘View Account History’ header
  • Locate the order you wish to access and select the corresponding blue hyperlinked order ID
  • Click the “Print Invoice” link to download, print and/or save

*Please note that orders are organized by the date that they were created in the system (if an order was created for membership renewal or an event registration on Sept 1, but was paid on Dec 3 it will be organized in My Account as Sept 1)

*Please refer to the conference solicitation for how to make payment for our Annual Training Conference & Technology Exhibition. This is done in a different system and requires different steps.

To Pay After Bypassing Payment

If you chose to defer payment when creating an order/invoice/registration, you must make payment no later than the deadline listed for the specific event/item you have registered for.

*NATIA does not accept POs in lieu of payment and all fees must be paid in full in order to attend an event

To pay online via credit card:

  1. Log into the NATIA member website
  2. Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  3. Choose the ‘My Account’ section/tab under the blue banner stripe on Your Profile
  4. When the My Account tab populates, you should automatically see a red section notifying you of Outstanding Balances if an invoice/order has been created but remains unpaid
  5. To make payment, click the box next to the open invoice you wish to pay, and then click the blue Pay button
  6. On the next page you will be prompted to enter your payment and billing information before choosing to Checkout, completing your transaction

To pay via check:

  • All check payments are subject to a 30-day processing time after receipt due to mail forwarding and processing. Please do not mail a check if it will not arrive at least 30 days before a payment deadline or start of a class. If check payment will not arrive by the deadline with
    these guidelines, the member must bring the check to the event and submit it upon check-in at class.
  • Please make checks payable to NATIA and include the member’s name and invoice number on the payment documents

Agency Staff Wishing to Pay on Behalf of Members

We are encouraging all agency staff making payment on behalf of members for an open/existing invoice to utilize our Non-Member Payment Portal for your convenience. To do so:

  1. Visit www.natia.imcsaratoga.com
  2. Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Pay an Invoice’
  3. Search for open invoices for your member with any of the fields requested, but please note that last name as saved with NATIA is required
  4. Once payment is made, the member will automatically receive a confirmation of payment to their email address on file with a payment receipt
  5. They can forward this along, or access associated documents (invoices, receipts) on demand via their profile on the NATIA member website
How to View Upcoming Training Opportunities
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Click the TRAINING tab to go to the Training landing page
  • Click the “View All Upcoming Trainings” button to view a full list of upcoming scheduled trainings and click each event to view details
  • Be sure to download the event flyer located within the registration for each event for complete information
To Download Event Flyers
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the TRAINING tab and select ‘View All Upcoming Trainings’ to view a full list of upcoming scheduled trainings
  • Click the event you want information for to open the event details/registration page
  • Download the event flyer from the event description you have opened
    *Don’t forget to print two copies – one for you and one for your agency!
To Register for an Event

*Members must register themselves for events to complete acknowledgements, personal information, and sizing/measurements.

**NATIA trainings are open to current members with membership dues paid through the current year.

***Register early to hold a spot! Most NATIA training events sell out before their registration deadlines.

  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the TRAINING tab and select ‘View All Upcoming Trainings’ to view a full list of upcoming scheduled trainings
  • Click the event you wish to register for to open the event details/registration page
  • Be sure to download the event flyer located within the registration for each event for complete information, including deadlines and instructions
  • Click the blue ‘Register’ button at the top right
  • Answer required questions and/or acknowledgements as indicated for the event
    • You must add your registration to the cart, then continue through and check out; Adding the registration to your cart alone does not secure your registration
  • Make payment via credit card or choose to defer payment to pay later by the deadlines listed on the specific event’s page and flyer
To Confirm Registrations for Events
  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select ‘Your Profile’
  • Click the “Events” tab, and select “My Events” in the menu that pops up 
To Cancel A Registration

Please be aware that there are cancellation deadlines for courses. Members must cancel by the deadline in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. All cancellations must be received in writing unless otherwise specified. A confirmation will be emailed to you that your request was received.

If you do not get a cancellation confirmation within a reasonable amount of time, please send a follow-up email to ensure your cancellation request was received.

Wait Lists

Please email training@natia.imcsaratoga.com and ask to be placed on a waiting list for the sold out class you wish to attend. You must include the event title, dates, and a cell phone number. If any openings arise, we will contact you.

To Add Professional Development Training (PDT) Hours/Training Events to Your Record

Documentation for NATIA-provided training you have registered for and attended should automatically populate within a few days of the event ending. However, members must enter training data/PDT hours for non-NATIA training and “informal” training where no certificate is secured.

  • Log into the NATIA member website
  • Hover over the CERTIFICATION tab and select ‘Report PDT Hours’
  • Fill in all requested information and choose save at the bottom of the screen to submit your PDT entry
Sponsoring a New Member

Members are encouraged to sponsor eligible individuals’ membership application. You must be a member for at least the past six months and have an active membership with dues up to date in order to act as a sponsor.

Sponsors must provide their NATIA membership ID number for the applicant to submit along with their application, and will be required to verify the applicant’s qualifications via email. Your membership ID number is located in Your Profile. Expand My Personal Information (click the blue pencil) to find your unique ID number.

Membership Renewals & Reinstatements

Membership with NATIA is valid for one year once membership dues are paid and application is approved. Per NATIA business practices, all memberships not paid within 30 days of expiration will be locked out of their member benefits until payment is made.

Current members will be automatically prompted to renew their membership at the beginning of the month, three months prior to their set expiration date. An invoice for membership renewal will be generated automatically and available for payment in Your Account.

To renew/reinstate, please 1) reset your password and verify your account, then log into a limited view of the NATIA member website to 2) update your contact information and 3) make payment of dues to request your reinstatement. Our membership chair will then review your profile and provide full access to the site once confirmed – you will receive an email when this occurs and full member benefits are restored:

  1. Reset your password and validate your account:
    1. Please utilize your agency email address (your username) to reset your password at: https://natia.users.membersuite.com/auth/portal-reset-password
    2. You will receive an email verification code to be used right away to finish your password reset process
    3. In addition, you will receive an account verification email from MemberSuite Support (donotreply@membersuite.com). Please be sure to click on the verification link included in this email.
    4. Once you’ve reset your password you can log into a limited view of the NATIA member website to update your contact information and make payment on your membership dues.
  2. Update your information
    1. Navigate to “Your Profile” from the NATIA member website (Log into a limited view of the NATIA member website, hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select “Your Profile”)
    2. On the default Profile section/tab, click the pencil in the “My Personal Information” section to make appropriate updates, being sure to save/validate all entries as you fill out the sections before clicking the blue “Update” button
      1. If the Update button is not blue, you have missed and/or not validated a required field
  3. Submit your application for reinstatement
    1. Navigate to “Your Profile” from the NATIA member website (Log into a limited view of the NATIA member website, hover over the MEMBERSHIP tab and select “Your Profile”)
    2. From Your Profile, click on the gray user icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Individual Membership
    3. Choose the Regular Membership fee of $50 and continue through the screens to create a new membership invoice
      1. Note: You may indicate “Reinstatement” in your sponsor fields. The Membership Chairman will reach out to you if an updated sponsor is required.
    4. Review your order and “Add to Cart” then “Checkout” to be brought to the payment screen
    5. Choose to pay with a new credit/debit card and enter payment details to make payment and submit application
      1. If agency personnel must make payment at a later date, choose to Pay Later and still checkout/process the transaction, otherwise your application will not be saved

 

If your membership has been expired for more than three years, please email kayla@natia.imcsaratoga.com to unlock your profile to be able to follow the above steps. Currently, if your membership is renewed and paid for online, you may bypass the back dues payment required by our bylaws for each year of lapsed membership.

How to Apply for the CTI Exam
  1. Log into the NATIA member website
  2. Hover over the CERTIFICATION tab and select ‘Register for the CTI Exam’
  3. Download and review the CTI flyer before choosing to Apply
  4. Follow the steps through the application, selecting your exam location in Step 6 by click “(choose location)”
How to Renew Your CTI Certification
  1. First add your required Professional Development Training (PDT) hours to your profile
    1. Log into the NATIA member website
    2. Hover over the CERTIFICATION tab and select ‘Review & Report PDT Hours’
    3. Click the Report CTI Credit Hours button
    4. Enter all requested information, including uploading copies of your training certificates for non-NATIA trainings, and choose Create to save
  2. Then apply for your CTI Renewal
    1. Log into the NATIA member website (or click the NATIA logo in the upper left corner of the screen if you’ve just logged your PDT hours)
    2. Hover over the CERTIFICATION tab and select ‘View/Renew CTI Status’
    3. Select ‘Renew’ on your certification line item, then choose the ‘CTI Renewal Application Process’ and Continue
    4. Follow through the application steps, choosing to Process & Pay
      • If you receive an error message that you are missing requirements, please email kayla@natia.imcsaratoga.com and ask her to refresh your missing requirements – our portal hasn’t caught up with your entered work! She will assist you with finishing your submission and instruct you on how to pay the required renewal fee.
Exhibitor & Sponsorship

Recommend an exhibitor to NATIA via the ‘Recommend an Exhibitor’ button on the bottom of the NATIA member homepage. For contact information of a specific NATIA exhibitor, please email exhibitorsupport@natia.imcsaratoga.com.

National Conference exhibitors can email Corcoran Expositions at kyle@corcexpo.com for assistance.

Chapter exhibitors can email the chapter board member point of contact for assistance or kayla@natia.imcsaratoga.com, who will put you in contact with the appropriate chapter board.

Newsletters

NATIA no longer sends newsletters. Please check your agency email address on file with NATIA, where we send regular updates via email. If you are not receiving email communications, please review your email preferences (see how to do this on the NATIA FAQ page above) and ensure you are opted in to receiving all emails from NATIA.
